RSRH Continuous Initiative on Food Safety Standards

RSRH Livestock Corporation initiated its efforts of leveling up its slaughtering standard with regards to food safety; particularly on large animal slaughtering, by applying a food grade antimicrobial liquid compound (50ppm) for its final washing.

The step is identified in the HACCP plan as a critical control point.

The antimicrobial liquid compound is effective against most bacteria, spores, and viruses in broad spectrum. It it non-residual, non-filming and free from poisonous residue.

Most of the slaughterhouses in the Philippines, particularly in the cattle industry, still follow the old ways of slaughtering which potentially exposes consumers to health risks and poor product quality due to its unhygienic practices and mishandling.

RSRH relentlessly finds ways to progress its slaughtering processes by providing clean, quality, and wholesome meat products to every Filipino family.

This is our way of setting quality standards in the meat industry to become an example in all slaughterhouses and to become a world-class meat establishment; specifically in the field of large animal slaughtering.
