RSRH Livestock Corporation aims not only at the clean process, facilities, quality meat, and reasonable price for every Filipino family.
Another Corporate Social Responsibility is to be part of nature conservation. It’s a fact that wastewater is being dumped into rivers by thousands of companies of various industries causing water pollution.
At last! We are happy to meet and collaborate with a former Dean of the Graduate School of Adamson University. She is a chemical engineer, a doctor, a certified environmentalist, and the inventor of Vigormin products, Dr. Merlinda Palencia.
With her help and deep knowledge in her field, we are able to arrive to resolve our predicament concerning wastewater. Applying her invention makes effluent or treated wastewater ready for discharge in the Marilao river that passes the standard of an effluent characteristic set by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) based on DENR Administrative Order 2016-08; Water Quality Guidelines and General Effluent Standards of 2016.
Now we can apply a closed system without discharge. Also, by using the recycled water to clean the lairage area (holding pen for large animals) and for watering the vegetables.
Vigormin, are white powder mixtures of several organo-minerals which are abundant in the Philippines. They are slightly alkaline, non-toxic, and odorless. And are partially soluble in clean water. The products do not contain any micro organism and have no enzymes. It neutralizes the acidity of wastewater and provides the essential minerals and oxygen for microorganisms, thus allowing indigenous bacteria/microorganisms to grow and multiply and making bio-degradation of organic wastes more efficient and odorless. The particle surface area also has the capability to absorb odorous pollution load.
The volume of the resulting sludge will also be reduced due to more effective absorption and faster biodegradation of solid wastes. The application of Vigormin will produce sludge with NO foul odor, and the collected dry sludge can be used as excellent compost or fertilizer materials.
We at RSRH are proud because we believe that working hand in hand is the key to cultivating, healing, and caring for Mother Earth. This makes us prevail in proclaiming the good news and living the Laudato Si.
Laudato Si is the second encyclical of Pope Francis. The encyclical has the subtitle “on care for our common home”. In it, the pope critiques consumerism and irresponsible development laments environmental degradation and global warming, and calls all people of the world to take swift and unified global action.”
We hope and pray that corruption stops at all levels and may businesses whether large or small must also focus on environmental protection for the welfare of our next generation.
Mabuhay ang mabuting Pilipino!
